Privacy Policy

Open 4 Business ("we", "us") is a booking platform that lets service businesses publish their services, manage staff and calendars, and accept appointments from customers. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Account information. When you create an account we store your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile information provided by Google.

Business information. Business owners provide their business name, address, category, services, prices, staff members, and working hours, which are shown on their public booking page.

Booking information. When a customer books an appointment we store the customer's name, email, the selected service, staff member, date, and time.

Subscriber information. Visitors can optionally share their name and email with a business to receive news and offers.

Business owners and staff may connect their Google Calendar. When they do, we request access to read calendar events and to create, update, and delete events we create. We use this access only to:

• Check busy times so customers are only offered available appointment slots.
• Create a calendar event when a booking is made.
• Update or remove that event if the booking is changed or cancelled.

We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties other than the business whose calendar it belongs to. Google access tokens are stored encrypted and are used only to provide these features. You can disconnect your Google Calendar at any time from the Settings or Staff pages, which stops all further access.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Business owners and staff may instead connect an Apple (iCloud) calendar using an app-specific password they create on their Apple account. We use this connection only to check busy times and to create or remove booking events, exactly as described above for Google Calendar. App-specific passwords are stored encrypted and can be revoked at any time from your Apple account or by disconnecting in our app.

• Provide the booking service: show availability, take bookings, and send confirmations.
• Sync bookings to the calendars business owners connect.
• Send transactional emails such as owner invitations and booking notifications.
• Let businesses contact subscribers who opted in to news and offers.

We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

We keep account, business, and booking data while the account is active. Business owners can remove services, staff, and subscribers at any time. To delete your account or request removal of your data, contact us at the address below.

We use encryption in transit and at rest, store calendar credentials encrypted, and limit access to personal data to what is needed to operate the service.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
